FB MONO GLOSS BARYTA 320

PermaJet's new FB Mono Gloss Baryta is a true baryta paper with an appealing glazed gloss surface on a fine art heavyweight base of 320gsm.

This inkjet paper has been specifically developed with a natural white base tint to emulate the surface finish, texture and coating of traditional darkroom baryta/fibre based papers, making it the perfect choice for the serious monochrome worker.

The silky smooth high gloss coating has been meticulously applied directly onto a true baryta layer and fibre base enabling its users to create intense, rich blacks and creamy whites.

Superb detail and definition can be achieved with its extended tonal range and excellent archival properties.
The surface exhibits a high degree of glossiness, density and vibrancy. An astounding DMAX reading of 2.38 makes this the perfect media for outstanding black and white reproductions - and even if you only print colour, its unique appearance opens up a whole new way of presenting the qualities of your printed image.

FB GOLD SILK 315

PermaJet FB Gold Silk is a baryta paper and has a sumptuous silk /satin finish on a fine art heavyweight base of 315gsm. This inkjet paper has been developed with a natural, warm base tint to emulate the surface finish, texture and coating of traditional darkroom baryta/fibre based papers, making it the perfect choice for the serious monochrome worker. In order to match traditional darkroom silver halide paper, the smooth coating has been applied directly onto a true baryta layer and fibre base enabling its users to create intense, velvety blacks and creamy whites the perfect combination for outstanding portraiture and landscape reproductions, whether in monochrome or colour.

FB ROYAL GLOSS 310

PermaJet’s FB Royal Gloss 310 has an enhanced coating on a specially backcoated baryta 310gsm base, delivering a flatter product for easy printer loading. It has a beautiful, natural white, acid-free base with subtle undulations in the paper base itself. The impressive alpha cellulose base is acid and lignin free and offers enhanced protection from changing ozone effects through the fade resisting internal buffers. Finished with a lovely medium glossy surface, this paper has a real luxurious feel to it.

Improved multi-layer technology delivers the highest colour gamut achievable with pigment inks which delivers an exceptionally high D-Max rating which enhances both colour and monochrome reproductions. Its consistent gloss surface and heavyweight base offers a true similarity to a traditional glazed fibre based print.

Users of any previous version of PermaJet's FB Royal or FB Gloss will certainly be impressed with the­­­­ new FB Royal Gloss 310 as the upgrades being applied will have little effect, if any, on the current ICC Profile being used. Mike McNamee of Colour Audit and Editor of Professional Image Maker Magazine measured the LAB variance of the base material at 0.61, which is virtually undetectable to the naked eye. This means current users will be hard pushed to see any change whatsoever whilst achieving a greater archival stability. PermaJet, being the purveyors of print perfection, are still happy to produce new custom profiles free of charge for anyone who feels it necessary.

FB DISTINCTION 320

A double weighted, bright white paper with an acid-free fibre base (baryta) which takes your print quality to the next level!

This 320gsm heavy base and clean gloss finish imitates the traditional look and feel of true baryta and provides an almost '3D' quality and appearance to many printed images.

The new FB Distinction 320 maintains the unique characteristics of the previous version but uses new, advanced top and rear coating technology to deliver a flat surface for printer friendly loading.

The enhanced, bright white, acid free Baryta base offers exceptional reproduction qualities. The superior coating enables modern printer inks to achieve the highest Dmax rating in the World, therefore delivering the widest tonal range.

FB SATIN 310

FB Satin 310 is a fantastic addition to the PermaJet Baryta range. This long overdue introduction combines the best features of the popular FB Gloss and Royal with a sumptuous satin finish which emulates an un-glazed/air dried fibre based print. The subtle undulations throughout the paper base, combined with the new coating technology allows for detailed ink retention across a wide tonal range for a unique character.

This media incorporates our superior coating with a unique satin top layer delivering pin sharp results. The alpha cellulose base is acid and lignin free and is internally buffered to enhance fade resistance from changing ozone effects. The coating provides an exceptional D-Max and colour gamut with pigment inks, making it ideal for both colour and monochrome reproductions

FB MATT 285

The FB Matt 285 is the bedrock of the PermaJet Fibre Based range with an ultra smooth 285gsm, acid-free fibre base and an advanced matt coating. This sumptuous, natural white paper has a velvet soft feel and appearance whilst retaining crisp rigidity and lay flat production values generated by our advanced coating technology.
